Juliet's Story

The Mudeka Foundation depends on the donations of kind supporters, many with personal reasons for choosing the Mudeka Foundation. One that stands out is Juliet’s donation, which she kindly explains below.

“I am so happy to have discovered The Mudeka Foundation. It is such a wonderful and important charity where the donations go directly to where they are needed. I came across the Foundation whilst searching for a charity where donations would help enable young girls in Zimbabwe to go to school. Strange though it may sound, this search was entirely thanks to a very kind young man in Zimbabwe called Jo, whose idea it was to find such a charity, a sad tale of his much-loved stolen goat called Natti and the upcoming Amazon TV series ‘The Wheel of Time’ based on the ‘Wheel of Time’ books by Robert Jordan. The series stars Rosamund Pike and in it I play Natti Cauthon. Jo named Natti the goat after my character. Both Jo and I were terribly sad when Natti was taken. I had been following her progress from the day she was born. It is therefore so lovely that by donating to The Mudeka Foundation, something so positive has come from something sad. I wish The Mudeka Foundation all the very best and congratulations on their 10th Anniversary.”

Anniversary Appeal

As we look back over 10 brilliant years of the Mudeka Foundation, we also look forward to the future. To celebrate our anniversary we want to offer 10 scholarships to pupils in Zimbabwe, which would include school fees, uniform, books, exam fees and mentorship. Anything you can give to support this would be greatly appreciated.
