October 2017: Another 4 weeks food for Muda school thanks to Hethersett Woodside Infant and Nursery school. After hearing about the building projects at Muda school and the Muda school feeding programme during an assembly presentation from Elisabeth Louis, Hethersett Woodside Infant and Nursery School children took part in a sponsored walk to raise money for the feeding programme. After the walk they tried Sadza (porridge), a Zimbabwean staple food which forms the basis of the meal that the Foundation provides. We hear that the children did not wish to routinely have Sadza for breakfast!
The Foundation thanks the children, their parents and teachers for the £302.48 raised by the walk. This will feed the children at Muda school for four weeks.
